Help!                   My Data is Broken!

I’m Jeremiah Robinson

A friendly and helpful 15-year veteran IT consultant, clients often refer to me as a solution architect.

In a nutshell:

  • I listen to people
  • I help them understand what they want from their data
  • I cooperate with others to solve problems

Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and IT Directors hire me when they want someone to:

  • Improve their data security and governance (such as for SOC compliance).
  • Fix, document, or build a data-centric product or solution.
  • Improve their sales, operations, or performance and need data to support this.
  • Mentor their inexperienced developers, analysts, or data scientists.
  • Reduce technical dept, such as taming a sprawling Power BI tenant or automating deployments.
  • Fix or migrate a broken or outdated database.
  • Document and transition legacy reporting.

Core technologies I work with:

  • Power BI

  • Excel VBA / Power Query

Methodologies

  • I use the Kimball approach to dimensional modeling and data warehouse design.

  • I can manage projects in Scrum, Agile, and traditional (Waterfall) frameworks.

Other Services:

  • Requirements gathering and definition
  • Mgrations to Microsoft Azure

Testimonials:

The team loves him – honestly, he might be one of the best consultants I’ve ever worked with. He’s developed amazing relationships with our team, pushes them (gently) out of the their comfort zone, matches his teaching style to the individuals learning style, presents concepts in non threatening ways – the list goes on and on. Amazing job so far Jeremiah, thank you for your commitment, leadership and expertise!
– CIO of a managed care organization

Jeremiah helped bring order and efficiency to the way we accessed and reported on our core business data including product, transactions, and financial information. He asked good questions, worked diligently, and accomplished what we requested and more. Jeremiah was always a pleasure to work with and interacted well with executives, managers, and line staff.
– CEO of a logistics Company

Hired to stabilize and redesign our data warehouse, Jeremiah also became a key member of a team to identify and resolve issues with DSC’s non-functioning web-site. The database is stable and has increased functionality and speed due to his work. The primary issues with the web-site were resolved and are
performing as designed. He is logical, thoughtful, courteous, proficient, and enjoyable to be around. Another thing that sets him apart is his ability to communicate to non-IT personnel, and to provide confidence in his audience that their problems are being addressed and corrected.
– CFO of a logistics company

Jeremiah Robinson served as a role model in demonstrating curiosity and exploring new possibilities. He is effective at building networks, asking questions, and making observations which all lead to creativity and the innovation process. He is a strong team player and a contributor to developing a high-performance culture. He will be an engaged and valued participant of your team.
– Regional President of a multinational consulting firm

[to a junior developer…] Jeremiah is the best there is at this stuff (data analytics).  Pay attention to him.
